How to organize pdf in 4 steps
- 1
Open your PDF
Drop the file onto the box. Every page is drawn as a thumbnail so you can see what you are working with.
- 2
Move pages around
Use the arrows on a thumbnail to shift that page left or right. There is a reverse-order button if you need the whole document flipped.
- 3
Rotate or drop pages
Turn a sideways page upright, or remove one you do not need. Reset brings every page back if you change your mind.
- 4
Save the rebuilt PDF
The document is assembled in the order shown on screen and downloaded straight to your device.
Rearranging a PDF without a desktop app
Page order is one of those problems that always shows up at the wrong moment: a scanner fed the sheets in backwards, a colleague sent chapter three before chapter two, or the signature page ended up on top. None of that needs an expensive PDF suite — it needs a view of the pages and a way to push them around.
Rotate and remove while you are in there
Reordering rarely arrives on its own. The same document usually has a page lying on its side from the scanner and a blank separator sheet nobody wants. Both are fixed here in the same pass, so you export once instead of running the file through three different tools.
What is preserved
The rebuilt file keeps the original page sizes, so a mixed A4 and US Letter document stays that way rather than being squashed to one format. Text remains real text rather than a picture of text, which matters if anyone needs to search or copy from the document later.
Organize PDF — frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?+
No. The pages are read and rebuilt inside your browser, so the document never leaves your computer. Once the page has loaded you can disconnect from the internet and the tool still works.
Does reordering pages damage the document?+
No. Pages are copied across whole, so text stays selectable, images keep their resolution and fonts stay embedded. Only the order changes.
Can I move a page from the end to the front quickly?+
The arrows move a page one position at a time, so a long journey takes several clicks. For a big rearrangement it is usually faster to split the document, then merge the parts back in the order you want.
What happens to links and bookmarks when I reorder pages?+
Internal links and bookmarks point at specific pages, so they can break once those pages move. Ordinary web links inside the text are unaffected. Check the navigation after a heavy reorder.
Can I organise a password protected PDF?+
Only if the password has been removed first. A PDF that needs a password to open cannot be read by the browser, so remove the protection in the app that created it and then come back.
How large a PDF can this handle?+
Thumbnails are drawn one page at a time and released as it goes, so a few hundred pages is comfortable on a normal laptop. Very large scanned documents take longer to draw because every page is an image.
